Ein Hauch von Interhotel… Wir haben hier 2 x im Rahmen unserer Nova Scotia Rundreise übernachtet. Es fing nicht gut an…für kanadische Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich war die Dame am Empfang uninteressiert und wirkte leicht autistisch. Das ganze Hotel hatte einen leichten DDR Charme…was nichts mit der Empfangsdame zu tun hat. Positiv war das Essen und der Service dort. Das Gym war gut. In das Schwimmbad haben wir uns nicht getraut…es wirkte in die Jahre gekommen. Positiv wiederum das Badezimmer in unserem Hotelzimmer…neuer europäischer Standard. Also insgesamt eine gemischte Angelegenheit.

Oak Island Resort The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a nice restaurant on site. We had breakfast and dinner there. We were not disappointed by the food. Everything we had was nicely presented and delicious! There is a marina right there that gives boat rides around Oak Island. Excellent tour. We even met Tony Sampson from the Oak Island show.

Great location and facilities Really enjoyed our stay here! Very well equipped and excellent facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff. We like the well decorated rooms, the indoor and outdoor pools and the hot tub. The bar was pleasant and the restaurant looked good even though we didn’t eat there. Great waterside setting with fab views. Did a nice little nature walk and the next day hired bikes and rode on the fantastic old rail trail to Mahone Bay.

Stop 2 on road trip Happily stay there again. Food in restaurant good both for breakfast and dinner. Staff were very friendly, driving to Peggys cove easy and also for exploring general local area. Did everything right without fuss, good facilities for families

Really nice resort Great location for our Oak Island vacation. Staff was super friendly. Scott and Karen (bar staff) were great! Our room was an ocean view and very comfortable. We didn’t get to enjoy the balcony because the wasps were everywhere. Either they were just “waking” up for spring or there may be a nest up in the gutters 🤷🏻‍♀️

One night stay for golf tournament at nearby Chester Golf Club The resort is receiving a refresh, which was a welcome change. As we have in the past we enjoyed the dining experience. Food was delicious. The rooms are quite comfortable, clean and fresh. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our only minor disappointment was that they have replaced the in-room coffee makers from Keurig to Nespresso. But otherwise the experience was quite satisfactory as it has been during our past visits. We will return!

A nice stay in January 2025 The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The rooms have been updated and are very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant which served a small but well varied menu, the food was delicious. The temperature outside the rooms was cold. No matter what the thermostats were indicating (which was high) the heat didn’t seem to work This made their restaurant and lounge rather uncomfortable. The staff kept apologizing. Hoping that gets fixed soon.

#HiddenGem Alert! We were touring the south shore and stayed at the Oak Island Resort for a night to relax and recharge. The accommodations were amazing. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and very clean! We ate at the restaurant and it was a delicious expeirence. The hot tub, sauna and pool area left our family rested and recharged. We will definitely return!

Great stay. We went to Oak Island Resort for our granddaughter's wedding. The staff did an awesome job of decorating the venue as well.We stayed two nights and enjoyed all aspects of the Resort. The food was delicious and large portions. We were able to enjoy the Town of Mahone Bay which was a short drive from the Resort. Enjoyed the walking trails in the area which were well taken care of and some wildlife too.

A Perfect Getaway by the Atlantic! I had a fantastic time at the Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome. The manager took the time to explain all the amenities available, ensuring we knew how to make the most of our stay. Our guestroom was beautifully decorated and offered stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. As a lovely surprise, they gave us a beautiful mug as a souvenir to remember this wonderful trip! With plenty of activities like water sports and cozy bonfires, there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend the "Stay, Play & Dine" package for the best experience. Oak Island is a true treasure, and I can't wait to return for more adventures!
